What is included in Manuscript Formatting?
Our Academic Formatting Specialists will ensure that your manuscript is in agreement with the submission guidelines of your target journal. Manuscript Formatting includes the following:
- layout
- font
- spacing between sections and lines of text
- citations and references
- formatting of headings and a check to ensure that all required sections are present
- title page check
- checking word count, image number, and reference number limits and noting overages
- ensuring the appropriate placement of tables and figures
What is not included in Formatting:
- formatting equations
- formatting references in Bluebook style
- formatting tables
- language editing
- conversion between file types (e.g., from Word to LaTeX format or vice versa)
Language editing, Translation, and Table and Figure Formatting are separate services that may be added to any Manuscript Formatting order.
