Are weekends and holidays included in deadline calculations?

Weekends are not included when calculating our deadlines, so if you submit your paper on a Thursday with a four-day turnaround time, it will be ready for you by the following Wednesday.  The specific deadline will be displayed in the purchasing cart.

 

AJE is also closed for several U.S. holidays. Deadlines are delayed for these days, and expedited timelines may not be available around the holidays.

11/28/25 (Friday, Day After Thanksgiving)

12/25/25 (Thursday, Christmas Day)

12/26/25 (Friday, Day After Christmas)
